We just recovered 8 unsold consignment copies of the first issue of Wowee Zonk. We received a grant from the OCAD Student Council in 2008 to print 200 of these. They're 36 pages and have comics from Myself (Patrick Kyle ) Chris Kuzma, and Ginette Lapalme. They look pretty antiquated compared to the latest issue of Wowee Zonk; they've got a many layered hand silkscreened cover and xeroxed interiors. All but one of them are on the original, off-white paper we did the first batch of them on.
This is probably the last time we're going to have these for sale! $5 + Shipping
Along with these unsold comics, came a few copies of an old zine I printed after Wowee Zonk One but before the first issue of Black Mass. It's called THIRST QUENCHERS. I feel like it was my first good comic. I think i'll hang on to these for now.
